Revan and his army return in the latest expansion for SWTOR. Fans of the Bioware’s Knights Of The Old Republic will rejoice seeing Star Wars™ The Old Republic™ Shadow of Revan. It looks like things will get so bad that the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire will have to join forces to take him down. How about a third faction? Playing a Revan fanatic might be fun.

I stumbled across this new trailer for Dreadnought a new PC title by Greybox. Crushing some fighters across my hull sounds like great fun in this multiplayer capital ship combat game. I will be keeping my out out for this one arriving in early 2015.
Tuesday my new Destiny Edition PS4 will arrive completing my next-gen console collection. I had a chance to play the Beta on Xbox One and I really enjoyed the game, However, all of the timed exclusive announcements for the Playstation version had thinking. Finally, what really put me over the edge was the PS4 Destiny Bundle a nice white console that goes perfectly with my white PSVita. I’m a sucker for aesthetics, and this new version of the Playstation is a stunner.
9/9/14 is just about here and I can’t wait to get my hands on the full version. I think that Bungie has something special waiting for us and as usual they have an amazing live action trailer to get everyone amped for the release.
Hearthstone has been great casual pick up and play game and the addition of the of the PVE adventure mode has made the game even better. The Curse of Naxxramas is the first of what I hope will be many single-player options that match the player against powerful bosses with really unique powers. As you delve into each quarter of the Necropolis and defeat the champions of the lich Kel’Thuzad you unlock new cards for your collection. The adventure is perfect and I can’t wait for future adventures in Black Temple, Karazhan, Ice Crown Citadel.
Fantasy Flight Games announced another product in their ever growing Star Wars lineup that I’m super excited for. Star Wars Armada will expand the miniature line from the dogfight battles of X-wing to a fleet level scale. The ships look great and the box set looks to be packed with capital ships and tons of Tie Fighter and X-Wing Squadrons. It looks like a lot of the same concepts and mechanics from X-Wing will be part of this rule set so it should make the game easy to pick up and play if you’ve already experienced X-Wing. I like the shield dials and the turn tracking integrated into each of the ship and squad bases. They previewed a couple of additional ships and I’m looking forward to seeing even more expansions.
I have this weird dream of a campaign that would stretch across all of these new games. To jump from an X-wing to an Imperial Assault game to an Armada game would be really cool.
